Principal Program Areas

WaterLife's programs fall into three main categories:

Direct support of community-based water/santitation projects. This includes both finance and implementation of WaterLife-generated field projects and grant funding to support third party water/sanitation programs that include education, training and services;

Establishment of the self-sustaining philanthropic model. This includes partnership and business development to launch commercial/community ventures that provide long-term recurring revenue so WaterLife can commit to water and sanitation programs on a significant scale;

Social enterprise development. This includes development of microfinance resources for water entrepreneurs and sponsorship of annual awards in the SocialReturns Business Plan Competition for a nonprofit/ngo/public entity operating a sustainable clean water/sanitation venture.
